Just wondering what you guys would hope for/like to see in the next version? ... i assume online racing will be included. I think i read that you still wont be able to damage the cars.

all I know is that this time it isn't exclusive to the playstation. Sony has stated that it will be on the PC as well.

Dean, don't they have issue's with having their cars damaged in video games? I know in the past that was a point holding back some companies. (or I could be way off) :b

    I want the Paint Shop!!!!!
They need to fix the AI, make it react more realisticly instead of all driving in the pre-scripted lines.

Also more tracks and more cars. More more more.

Correct, some companies do not want to licence their cars if they are going to be displayed with damages - I don't know which particular companies this is, but I can imagine that if just one company places this restriction, it would look kinda stupid if the rest of the cars could be damaged.

I also guess this is a welcome possibility for the developers to not have to create as advanced models though.

I have never played GT3, but I did play parts 1 and 2, and I hated 2 becuase the AI sucked so bad. In 2, when I was driving and totally screwed up, I would be able to catch the other cars with no problem. If I was having my best lap ever, I would look in the rear-view mirror and the other cars are right behind me.

I guess this was done to make things more "exciting" but I prefered GT1 because it didn't do this.

Is the AI in GT3 the same as it is in GT2?

I never got into GT2 that much, but from your description of it GT3 is nothing like it

Yes Rage still hold the Lambo license, they have a new game in the works right now which looks pretty nice. Shame we can't see these rides in GT4 though. [IMG]

What's up with Logitech coming out with a GT4 steering wheel. I'm pretty disappointed once I heard the news. Since, I bought one their first version when GT3 came out. It doesn't have the 4-buttons on the wheel like the latest, in case anyone didn't know. Does that mean, we have to get a new steering wheel when GT5,GT6 etc.. comes out?

This is a fairly old article by now, but I guess things about the Lamborghini game has changed since this was written then?

Yes, they're dead as a company, Bjorn. That CVG article's from October, and even back then they were in serious financial difficulties. Around then, they got a huge big loan from the Royal Bank of Scotland, and in mid-January, RBS basically closed their line of credit. After a scramble to get more funding, they shut up shop in late January.

The receiver's in charge of selling off their assets. Rumours abound that Ubisoft picked up the Rocky stuff (they handled international publishing of it) and EA buying the Lambo licence without picking up the rights to the nearly completed Rage game. I'll stress again that nothing official has been announced, this is all hearsay & gossip going around the UK industry.

Supposedly the head of Rage is now head of UK PR for EA.
