In honor of the first manned Moon Landing back on July 20, 1969, Google has launched Google Moon, a lunar version of their Google Maps.

Google Moon uses NASA imagery of the lunar surface and allows you to scroll and zoom in and out along the Moon's surface. Currently they only have a limited area on the moon's surface available for viewing, but it does show the landing areas for the Apollo missions 11-17. (except for Apollo 13 of course)

Google apparently does plan on expanding the mapping area as well as allowing even higher zoom options. (In the meantime, the clever folks at Google have placed a 'unique' picture for those that try to zoom in too close.) :D

I wish they would concentrate on Earth, and support Macs.

This other stuff is sheer lunar sea.
