    My first post [IMG] !!!

What do you all think of this set up or would you do something else with cheaper?

    1 Denon 5803
    3 pairs of Klipsch RF7
1 Klipsch Center speaker and 1 rear speaker.

    I appreciate your thoughts...

    Welcome to HTF, Rich!

Since the top of your list includes the Denon AVR-5803, I've moved your post here in Receivers/Amps, where you're sure to get a lot of input.

The Basics area is intended for general discussion at the beginner level (as opposed to specific model recommendations). And given the system you're thinking of putting together, I'd say your well past the beginner level.

Good luck on your home theater.

Denon's are great choices, so the top of the line Denon, should be an excellent piece of equipment for you.

On speakers, really get the speakers and combo's you like the sound of best.

It will depend on your needs and likings. I think four RF7 are an overkill, but it depends on your needs.
    1) What are your room dimension?
    2) What are you preferences (music/movies/games)?
    3) What is your budget?
    4) Do you have a sub? are you considering one?

With the price you will pay for the 5803, you should also look for separates, and try to audtion as much as possible, and let you ears make the final descition.

    Good luck,

Killer setup. Very loud. You definitely need to audition system in your home because this is in your face loud and your room (absorbive/reflective)will go a long way in determining if this is what you want for the long haul :b
