I just bought a pair of M3s to use as rears, and I need to get new stands. I've been using dinky sat stands for Energy Take 2s for a couple of years...and need a big upgrade. My only concern is clearance above my couch. I don't have much room in my apartment, and I have my rears right next to my couch (~5 feet away from the hot spot on either side). Any ideas on some decent stands?

Yes, but 24" is to short...I'm sorry I didn't specify. My point is that I need a sturdy stand that is at least 31 inches tall. I haven't been able to find any...

Paradigm sells the S30 (30") All metal, with spikes. I'm using them for my surrounds. Bell O'Getti also makes some very nice looking ones which are around that tall. You will not find many stands that tall, 24"-26" are the most common. Other choices would be to make some...be creative.
