i'm sure many here know by now....but i thought i'd take the time to inform those not in the know that htf's own vince maskeeper offers some of the best deals around on custom cables. i ordered one large batch a few months ago and the construction is top knotch. vince is doing this on his own so it takes a while to get them but in my opinion the wait is well worth the savings. he is however very quick to email you with progress and updates. i'm not much of a cable believer myself, i just wanted to have some nice looking cables which solid connections. the canare connectors he uses are looser than the "death-grip" rca's on my old ar pro-series and monster brand cables. they make solid connections without feeling like you're gonna rip the soldering loose on the rca jack. this was one of my main beefs with my old cables. the amount of cables i purchased from vince the first time would've cost me close to $400-$500 from any other vendor but i squeaked by for only $225. those looking to upgrade their cables should definitely check out vince's site:

to the best of my knowledge, vince does custom batches every month or two so just drop him a line and add yourself to either the current batch or possibly a future one. you won't regret it. i know i'll definitely contact him again.

I'll second the quality of Vince's cables. The are well made and beautiful. And of course they perform great since he uses quality canare cables and connectors. Plus he has some of the cheapest prices and you can get them custom lengths from him so that you can help clean up the wire clutter behind your rack rather than the stock lengths you can buy from other places.

Thanks for the lead guys. I emailed Vince earlier today inquiring about some cables. He said that he is starting a new batch right now, so if anyone is interested you should get in contact with him now. I'm anxious to see his quote and see how much money I can save by going this route.
