Good receiver/amp for <= $300?? (1 Viewer)

My 4-year-old Onkyo TX-SV454 Audio Video Control Receiver is crapping out. I'm looking for a replacement. Any recommendations?

I've got a fairly modest, 6-channel, home theater system with a pair of Bose 301 V bookshelf main speakers, Sony center and rear speakers, and a Yamaha 50 watt self-powered sub-woofer.

Check out www.overstock.com
They have some refurbed JVC, Yamaha and Denon receivers. They come with warranty, but can buy an extra 2 yrs. for about $30.
