Good price for B&K Ref 50? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering what you guys think is a good price for this piece. I was quoted a price of $3k. Is that too much?
At this point, it's between the B&K and the Anthem AVM-20. If I could get the Anthem for $3k, should I get that instead?

$2998.00 is list price for the B&K Ref50. You should be able to do better than that price wise. I did. I'm not sure about pricing on the AVM20 although i hear it's one helluva piece.

I've seen the Ref 50 for as low as $2300-2400.

I also saw one at Sound Perfection during their yearly sale for $2399 last weekend. Pretty fair price but it was a demo unit.

However, I also saw an upgraded AVM20 there (demo also) for $2499 or $2599. That's a good price for the upgraded version.
