Good Phono Cartridge Under $50 (1 Viewer)

Can anyone recommend a good phono cartridge that is still obtainable ?

I went to transfer some vinyl to cd and my old stylus broke.

I figured I may as well get the full cartridge.

I'm not aiming for the best. Just a 'good' one for around $50.

assuming standard or p-mount and the relevant adjustments

if you do mean, cartridge Grado Green ($54)

but you may be able to get a replacement stylus (try Link Removed ) which may be better if you've already got a good cartridge

It was standard mount (2 screws).

The stylus apparently isn't supposed to be removable... It is now ...

Actually it was a Precept ??? The frickin' stylus just broke in half, so I pulled what was left of it out.

I second contacting The Needle Doctor. They helped me in getting a replacement for a 30+ year old TT at a very reasonable price. (less than $50 - although they did point out that I could step up an spend more to get a better cartridge if I wanted to). I'm sure they could help you.
