JL-

SurroundSolutions.com has a few different mfgs there you can check out.

I looked all over the place when I was in the market for speaker stands. I ended up getting some Sanus Steel Foundations 24" stands from Sanus.com (also have them on SurroundSolutions.com). They are about $165, but are really nice and sturdy.

Hope this helps,

Rob

Niel - eBay is another option. I won this 18" Tri-Pillar Speaker Stands
tripod2.jpg

for $16.50 ($14 S/H) couple of weeks ago. Made from MDF, it was the perfect height for my JBL S26s.
Click his search description Link Removed to get an idea how it works.
Typing "speaker stand' will provide more generic type stands.

Instead of starting a new thread I might as well ask my question here.

I'm getting some Axiom m22's and I'm looking for stands and I noticed that the axiom's base are larger than most top plates of stands, is this normal?

Another question, are 20" stands to high for the axiom's, considering they recommend 16"

Thanks
