My Yamaha Receiver has a feature to delay the Center ch. a few ms. Is it a good idea to use this feature. My center is in line with my mains. I can't move it back and create the 360 deg. sound field. And if so, what setting should it be at to create the best 360 deg soundstage? Is there a formula to calculate the delay from the seating position?

Adding 1 ms delay approximately equals moving that speaker 1 foot further back. Yes, use it to bring the speakers into time alignment.
