Hmm...that's disappointing to hear about Turkish Delight and so cool to know I wasn't the only kid who wondered what the stuff was and had to have some. Actually, I think I always pictured it as something more akin to baklava than the nuts-and-gum concoction described in the slate.com article.

Back to the OP, Big Night sticks in my craw and I've always been envious of the Hogwarts students too. One film food scene that hasn't been mentioned yet is from 9-and-a-1/2 Weeks.
