buyer beware? what do you think of this? Too good to be true?? downtownaudio.com/bk2.html
OK, Ill go read it. so far only things I buy from CC come broke.
before I jump in I'll wait. Maybe someone bought from them before. But Im thinking the Ref50. But what amp should I go with? B&K AV 125.7 Multi - Channel Amplifier or B&K REFERENCE 200.7 Multi - Channel Amplifier?
Well list is $1999 so that's not a great deal(20% off) and they are probably and I'm 99% sure they are not authorized. It is a good price but at what cost if it needs repair. Downtown audio has been mentioned on several sites including Denon as not being an authorized dealer.
Shane, is there an authorized dealer online that I could look at? THanks Perry
Perry, I'm pretty sure there is not an authorized B&K dealer ONLINE. Usually when a company has a dealer network online, then they will give that to you but their site doesn't mention that. You might try calling B&K but I have a distinct feeling what they will say. Still try to plug your zipcode in on their site and see where that takes you.
I thought the list was $2999? Did they drop it? And if so I must seariously start looking into it for my HT.
I tried their site but it errors, Ill never know of a local dealer
Last I heard yes to $1999.
I just ordered my ref50 from my local dealer and they discounted another 209 off a list of 1998. Most dealers will discount. I would say go with a legit dealer in your area. Service is worth paying a little more for. Good luck Gary
