    For those that care....
Best Buy has the Western Digital 80GB for $199 before a $75 mail-in rebate.
I had planned on purchasing the 40GB, but could not pass this up.

You know sometimes we buy stuff just because... I think this is one of those times!!! I really don't need this since I already have 2-40GB, 3-9GB, 2-4.3GB, but what the heck, right???

Todd, next time don't tell me about these awesome buys; not healthy financially since I'll have to use the $75 rebate to buy the wife something!!! LOL.

    Thanks,

    Roy C.

Also check CompUSA, I recently purchased a couple 80 gig Maxtor drives there for $99 each, no rebate. Right now they have Western Digitial's 80 gig for $99 after rebate. They are only 5400 rpm drives, but when your only using them for media storage they are perfect! Especially to chunk up with divx encoded movies!

Supposedly Circuit City is selling the same hard drive for $149.99, so if you get a price match at Best Buy, you can get that hard drive for $75 + tax (+ MIR).
    See the CC price tag.
