Anyone have any info on this release? I am hoping for DTS and plenty of extras via a 2-disc set.

So, is does the upcoming DVD release of Gone in 60 Seconds have new footage cut back into the film? Anyone?

I saw on Digital Bits Gone in 60: DC is coming out for UMD. Is a new disc coming to DVD as well?

Not much, IMO. I saw the theatrical cut of the flick twice but I'll be damned if I was able to recognize the new footage. It's not like the unrated Coyote Ugly and its skin scenes - I don't think the extra parts of 60 do anything to change the movie.

All the extras are the same...

Well is it at least a new transfer/audio?

I thought picture/sound was the same for both theatrical and DC DVDs...

How could it not be a new transfer if it contains different footage?

Yah IGN didn't give this a good review. Still picking it up anyway since I didn't pick up the first one. Also picking up Coyote Ugly too.

If you didn't get your answer sometime in the past two months, then yes, it has a runtime of 127 minutes. My original DVD is 118 minutes. I don't know what the extra footage is though. Anyone?

The disc is 12.99 at Best Buy.

I haven't watched this DVD in a long time (the 2000 release) so there's no reason for me to upgrade? I now have a nice audio system/HDTV so I usually upgrade my older titles for better audio/video. So this is a case where I should keep my old copy?
