I didn't see any discussion about this here yet...
Here's the list:

I haven't seen most of this stuff, but I'm glad yet puzzled to see Larry David's acting nomination for "Curb your enthusiasm". A great actor he's not, IMO. :)

Edie Falco can start clearing a space on her mantle for this one. And many More. And I'd probably give it to Chiklas of Gandolfini this year.

How many episodes of Sex in the City actually aired during the past year? Four nominations and I can't remember the last time I saw a new episode. I hope Curb Your Enthusiasm wins, but I won't hold my breath waiting for it to happen.

And it looks like I really should watch all those episodes of The Shield that have been sitting on my TiVo for months.

And congrats to Tony Shalhoub. Monk is a fairly lightweight show, but he makes it watchable. And I always enjoy saying "Put the lotion in the f***ing basket!" when the captain walks on the screen.

I sure hope that those responsable for the Golden Globes are smarter than those who run the Emmys, Curb Your Enthusiasm deserves that Golden Globe. Larry David is hands down the funniest man alive right now so he should get it.
I'm going with Helen Mirren all the way for her great performance in Door to Door.
And as for best actor in a tv movie, no question about it, no contest really, William H. Macy for Door to Door! You've got a heart of stone and ice water in your veins if his performance in that wonderful movie failed to touch and inspire you.
I'm sorta surprised to see that the film itself wasn't nominated, oh well, at least William and Helen were recognized.
