Is this a genuine question? Hugh Laurie's a Brit, that's his normal speaking accent. When he talks as Greg House, it's totally a put-on American accent, which is very good.

I suspect not, Marianne being from Britain, where Hugh Laurie was well-known long before we Yanks "discovered" him.
