This is a really good film with plenty of genuine action set pieces with quality acting and great music score by Elmer Bernstein . The new MI film is total garbage when compared to Gold with the special effects getting so absurd it becomes tiresome and stupid and many walked out because of this....some said they would have wanted their money back. It was a Preview Showing so nobody had paid.

I haven’t watched it in a long time as I have one of these bad copies.

This was released in the UK a couple of years ago with a restored picture that was totally undermined by the fact that it had a sideways squish making everyone’s look unnaturally taller and thinner. I returned my copy for a refund. If they’re using the Pinewood Studios restoration for this then I do wait for reviews.
