Going to Nashville first weekend of May, doubt playoffs will be on when I'm actually in town, and I HATE country music.

What to do while there?

and how is the airport? lots to do? I might be there for awhile, we'll see.

I also have layovers of over an hour in Ohare and Denver.

I went to Nashville back in October, if you do not like country music, you are kinda screwed dude, on the strip, you can't even eat in a deli without hearing some wannabe struming a guitar and singing, yes, you guessed it, country music! The Hard Rock Cafe there even pipes in C/W in their gift shop. I would suggest copious amounts of an alcoholic beverage to see you through. I, however, enjoy country, and all the fine women just made it all the better.

You can spend a few hours here: http://www.gaylordhotels.com/gaylordopryland/ - take the indoor boat ride under a five-acre glass atrium.

It's right next door to Opry Mills mall, which has a Bass Pro Shops store that is worth a few hours all by itself.

You'll fit right in, Nashville hates country music too. They have recorded very little of it there in the last 40 years.
