I have a denon 1802 running my studio60s/20/cc/pw-2100 setup, and picked up an xr-25 for my brother. I of course had to try it out after all the hype and was initially disappointed with the sound, until I realized the treble and bass settings were cranked in the opposite directions.
After flattening the tone out, I was really impressed. Very clean, plenty loud, and dynamic sound. I didn't give it terribly critical listening, but it was good enough that I didn't bother hooking my denon back up for several days.
At less than half what I paid for my denon, I'm shocked. I need a new bedroom receiver soon and I'll probably pick up the xr50 for myself. Very clean, very nice sounding piece of equipment for much less than I expected to pay. Hard to go wrong really.
