Absolutely yes!
I have been using Cardas for years.
However, you don't need to spend this much. I think Neutral Reference is less expensive but very high quality. Many reviewers use Neutral as their base cable.
Here are some prices:
Neutral Reference ("NR") 2meter speaker $730 (full retail)
NR interconnect 1meter $500
Much less that $1,500 difference above I think. If you could specify how many interconnects and what lengths, I could be more precise.

I would have to agree with Lee, the Cardas are very nice, and should provide a significant improvement over the Goertz. Although, I will say that having used the Goertz for awhile they were very nice cables, but they did exhibit a small suck out of the midrange. Or I guess I should say they didn't have much midrange bloom.
