I don't think my Braves have what it takes (hitting-wise) to get into the play-offs this years. I'd be very surprised if they got on a roll and squeaked in, but I just don't see it happening for my Bravos this year.
But, I would like to see the Mets get in, and be one of those "teams of destiny" as they are playing the best out of the NL East after the All-Star break, and would probably represent the division better than the Phillies or the Braves.
It was great to see the Mets and Braves come together at the start of the game and give one another a hug, given the circumstances.

The schedules through the rest of the year really favor the Phillies. The Mets and Braves still have games to play against each other, and the Phillies play mostly chump teams (Fla, Cinn). The Braves/Phillies series next week is going to be really something.

There's always the reverse psychology of playing "chumps"
in that they have nothing to lose, and may play more relaxed and revel in playing the role of spoilers.
