glare on Panasonic projection TV screen (1 Viewer)

I have a Panasonic PT53X54J 53" rear projection TV. At my other house it was in the basement and I had no complaints, but now it is in my den and it reflects everything in the room. I saw in the forum that the protective screen could be removed and eliminate the glare/reflection problem. Does anyone know how this screen can be removed? If not how can I reduce the reflections? The reflections are so bad that I will have to sell the TV if I can't reduce or eliminate them.

I don't know how to remove it, but it's very aggravating isn't it? I hate reflections in the screen. That's exactly why I won't have a plasma! Same problem, but they don't have removable screen protectors.
