Daniel Palladino turned in a terrifically fun script, and just about everyone in the emsemble cast turned in very witty and funny performances in this episode where the main plotline revolved around putting on the "Living Pictures" show after a nearby town suffered too much rainfall.

Sookie's impending delivery, her over-sensitivity to her condition, her use of the midwife Bruce (much to Lorelai's consternation), her worthless brother-in-law, all made for some rapid fire observations and outpouring of emotions at this crazy time for a first-time mother-to-be.

Lane's band's pursuit of a lead guitar player brings forth an aging rocker (I wish I could remember his name...Okay, found it, he is Sebastian Bach of Skid Row fame). For a while there, the band didn't want such an old guy in the band, but his passion won Lane over.

Nicole and Luke might be staving off their divorce. More kinks thrown into the Luke/Lorelai relationship.

Kirk has a girlfriend! Nuff said. Actually Kirk's disavowel of the guy playing Judas in the Last Supper was sort of funny.

Rory finds more ways to hang out in Stars Hollow once again. But she's really blossomed this season.

Very good episode. The living pictures thing was one of the neatest things I've seen in a long time.

I don't mind that Rory keeps finding excuses to be back in Star Hollow, because that's where I want her. The sooner they have her move out of the dorms and back home (and become a commuter student) the better.
