I picked it up Monday night played the training missions and a bit of the Quick Missions, I've tried a bit online but this is a tough game to get into both technically and gamewise. The interface and actually getting into a game is a bit more problamatical than other Live launch titles. Once in a game I have'nt found anyone willing to cut me some slack for being new. It's hard to get into the swing of things online. Anyone else finding this too !

I haven't found these problems...especially not with playing with others online.

I agree that the menus aren't the easiest to navigate, though.

I found the game a bit cumbersome at first, but I played the first ten solo missions and that really helped. (Not on XLive, just the plain ol' game.)

Overall, I think it's a lot more fun than Unreal Champ!

Dave,

Try hooking up with some co-op games where you are working with everyone against the AI. That will give you a much better chance to observe other players without feeling like you are being "hunted". That is how I started out last week (never played a Tom Clancy game before Ghost Recon) and I cannot get enough of it on Live now!

Take it easy,

Bryan

I just picked this game up yesterday myself... went through training and gave the first solo mission a shot. It's got a decent learning curve to it I agree. I think with a little practice though, this will be one hell of a game!

I'm at the single player mission where you have to escort the tanks. Pain in the butt! :)
So far, it's like playing the original Rainbow Six, on the pc, a few years ago. My problem with the game is, IT'S LIKE PLAYING RAINBOW SIX ON THE PC A FEW YEARS AGO!
While I enjoy this game and this genre, I think that they could've spiced the graphics up just a little bit more than what they've presented here. Yeah I know it's not about the graphics and this game is more about the "realistic" aspects of warfare but, if this ideology holds out, you could put this game on the Atari Jaguar and everyone would be happy with the experience. I think the games graphics are passable but WAY below Xbox capabilities.
It looks like a port originally made for a Voodoo II...

I think your being way too har on this game. I'm quite pleased with the graphics and to tell you the truth they are better than I expected. The Gameplay is great thou.
