Yes, all GITS DVDs are sourced from the same master

If you're looking for the best transfer, compression wise, the Korean R3 is the way to go. The R2 Japanese has a little bit more compression artefacts ( mainly around edges ) but some prefer the colors of that DVD. The US DVD is good but the whole transfer is a bit blurred. Lines that should be thin are thick compared to the Jap and Kor DVDs.
