Due to reasons beyond my control I am without a powered sub for a few months untill I can get a new one. I'm wanting to string something together so I can still enjoy the HT untill I can get the replacement sub that I want so here is the question for the experts....

    Existing equipment:

    Reciever: H/K AVR325
    Amp Parasound 855a
Sub box: JL Powerwedge with 2 W0 10" subs (Came out of an old car I had)

I'd like to set it up the this way if possible will it work?

Parasound powers the FR, Center, FL and sub
    The H/K powers the surrounds

Will I need to get a crossover for the Sub or will the Reciever handle it?
    Will this even work?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the help!!!!!!!

The receiver will handle the crossover and the everything should be fine as long as the subs don't put lower than a 4 ohm load on the Parasound.
