First of all, I am new to hometheaterforum, but not new to home theater systems or electronics. My problem, however, is that I have a newer TV, but it has no outputs for audio that I could run to my receiver for surround sound when I am just watching TV (basic cable, no sat. or anything). I was wondering if there is some type of RF modulator that I can run coax to and then run video cables to my tv and audio to my receiver. Or does anyone have another suggestion of what I could do to accomplish my problem. Oh yeah, I used to have a vcr that allowed me to run coax in and run the rca out, but I no longer have that vcr. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The cheapest stereo hi-fi VCR you can find is going to be the cheapest and best solution here. An SVHS while more expensive should give a somewhat better picture quality.
