I am finally getting going.
I met with my architect on Tue. On Wed I was told that the city will not allow me to add a room the size that I would like to the back of my home. The big compromise is width. I wanted 17' wide but will only be able to go 13' I can get my length at 23' with a 10' ceiling these are inside dimensions. Being in Las Vegas I do not have a basement so I have to make a complete addition on the back of my home. The nice thing is that I have a blank slate to work with. It will be a 7.1 room with as much pre-wiring that I can think of.
I should have a complete set of plans in my hands by this time next week. I am looking forward to the project.
