Ceiling is textured! As soon as it is dry it's painting, carpeting and hanging my acoustic treatment then it's showtime!

FYI, you probably know this, but the KP46WT500 front grille comes off easily. Remove the grille and the two front speakers, and with the deeper inset under the screen frame you would be able to slide in the TV further for a more seamless look. In fact, the two small circuit boards for the center controls, and the bottom left inputs can be easily removed and with a little bit of work you could build a new control housing for them that could be flush with the wall (or at the least, set them inside the enclosure).

I'm not sure, but I don't think you can "touch focus" the screen via the remote control. Not a big deal since you can just slide the TV out and push the front button if you ever need to do this. Just something to keep in mind while you finish up your cool HT room!

Great idea! That would gett the screen almost flush to the fron of the wall.

Alright. The painting is done. As soon as the carpet guy (friend of mine) gets done, I can hang my acoustic treatment and move the toys in!
