There is definitely a pattern emerging.


18, 1+8=9, 18-9=9
11, 1+1=2, 11-2=9
...
25, 2+5=7, 25-7=18
21, 2+1=3, 21-3=18
...
33, 3+3=6, 33-6=27
39, 3+9=12, 39-12=27
...
67, 6+7=13, 67-13=54
62, 6+2=8, 62-8=54



Oh ho! The symbols for each number in the legend change.

Whatever number you end up with is a multiple of 9 ... each multiple of 9 in the list is represented by the same symbol ... which happens to be the symbol that is produced when you click.
