Just a quick question for anyone in the know: Is MGM planning a Get Shorty Special Edition any time soon? I was thinking of picking this one up today but will wait if something better is coming. Thanks!

I'd be willing to part with my copy of Get Shorty well below the cost of a new disc, if you needed something to tide you over (and I'm not even sure a SE is in the works)...drop me an email if you're interested

The laserdisc has a Barry Sonnenfeld commentary track so why that hasn't bene made avaialble is a good question.

...which happens to have the best explanation on how any scene should be properly photographed...
It's rather surprising the Laserdisc features were never transferred to the DVD. A rights issue maybe? Even there it doesn't make complete sense considering both the Laserdisc and DVD releases are from MGM.
