According to tvshowsondvd.com George Lopez: Season 1 and 2 will arrive on dvd April 17. It will include the 4 episodes from season 1 and 24 from season 2. Special Features include "Inside the Comedic Mind" featurette and a gag reel.

I have been awaiting this release for a while. Will definately pick this up.
