Today we mourn the passing of George Harrison and his monumental contribution to pop music, he will never be forgotten.

i would like to take the time to mention many contributions to film George Harrison has done after the Beatles.

His company, Handmade films produced such films as Life of Brian

    Time Bandits

    The Missionary

    Bullshot

    Water

    Mona Lisa

    Withnail and I

    Nuns on the run

    Five Corners

    and many others.

He also did a guest voice on the Simpsons, as did Ringo Starr and Paul and Linda McCartney.

Please, everyone who can expand on this subject, please do.

He made a brief appearance in The Rutles, playing a TV journalist if I recall correctly.

    Don't forget his acting:

    A Hard Day's Night

    Help!

    Magical Mystery Tour

    Yellow Submarine (the very end)

Let it Be (was that acting?)

    The Rutles

and also his songwriting. Not only the above films but

Lethal Weapon 2 (Cheer Down, end credit song).

BTW, for those of you who don't visit the Polls section, we sometimes have 'tournaments' over there, and I've just started one for George Harrison songs as a tribute. Feel free to come vote if you're a fan.

Here's a movie connection I'll put in the form of a trivia question: What links George Harrison with a classic Humprhey Bogart movie?
