Are bipoler speakers what I want to be using for my rear surrounds. I have the def tec pro monitor 80 as my side surrounds (this is because of a lack a wall in the correct place and had to hang from the ceiling.) But my question is should i get bi poles for the rears or just get another set of direct rad. 80's

    Thanks

depends. I know thats a horrible answer but its the best we can do. There's a multitude of factors to consider from DD and DTS's recomendations, to your room layout and your preferences etc that all come into play. IMO if you don't have a proper back wall I'd lean towards direct rads but there might be a case for bipoles as well.

Its not that I dont have a back wall. ITs that I dont have a side wall. As you are looking at the tv its the left wall thats missing.
