Just wondering-does the GBA have some sort of low battery warning on it? I'm asking because I know that the GBC doesn't, and I've lost quite a few games in progress due to the battery shutting down on me before I had a chance to save.

The GBA "power on light" changes colour when battery power is getting low. From green to red, I believe.

Really-that's better than the GBC with its light getting a little dimmer (but with no point of reference). Score one for the new machine!

And then it flashes red if you want to play it to death.

Actually, mine flashes red first, when the batteries first start to go out, then it changes to solid red, then solid black. [IMG]

It should be noted that using things like lights will not drain the battery faster (they will, but not too fast), but will make the unit think that, so the light will be red, but when you turn the light off, it turns green.
