Gateway TVs - any good? (1 Viewer)

I'm gonna be getting a new TV soon. Sony is at the top of my list in general, when it comes to TVs. But I know there's other options. I'm either going with DLP or Plasma, we're still deciding. Of course price is a factor and DLPs seem to be more affordable. but I'm wondering how the Gateway plasmas compare to the more "name brand" TVs like Sony or Panasonic or Mitsubishi? The Gateway TVs seem to be cheaper but I don't want to get one and then wish I had something better...

Don't get a Gateway. They are considered bottom of the barrel plasmas. Panasonics are well known for their plasmas.

Well I can tell you the experience I had with their computers sucked so bad I would never invest in anything with their name on it.
