Gateway 46" plasma TV Any reviews (1 Viewer)

Anyone have any reviews on the Gateway 46" plasma. I am thinking of purchasing one of these and any input would be appreciated.

I realize that it does not have the highest resolution for HDTV but to be totally honest, I rarely ever watch cable or broadcast television. Whenever I sit down to watch TV I do so with the intent to watch dvd. So I don't feel that the lower resolution will matter much in my case. (feel free to let me know if this feeling is in error). My dvd player is a progressive scan machine for I knew sometime in the future i would be in the market for a HDTV. It appears that the future could be now.

Search Google, I read one recently. It was rated decent mostly because of the price, but fell behind in every category when compared to $5K and up models. End result- you get what you pay for.

Apparently it is the same as a BenQ 46" plasma. Same as the Vizio P4 and the Tatung 46" model. You'll find more info on plasmas at AVS Forum.
