Any chance of this? Starngely enough, I have been re-watching some old VHS stuff I taped back inthe 80's and I had quite a few eps on tape... highy good fun... would be interested in a set, if there was on coming...

If I recall correctly, this series was produced by the same company that did "Combat!," so possibly one of the independents could release this as Image Entertainment did with "Combat!" Now that both "Combat!" and "Rat Patrol" are complete, this might be viable for fans of WWII series. But my personal preference would be to see "12 O'Clock High" first.

The production company for COMBAT! and GARRISON'S GORILLAS was called Selmur Productions (for Selig Seligman and his wife Muriel).

The Garrison's Gorillas pilot had two versions, one with some of the Combat! cast leading the Gorillas to their mission and another version with different actors doing the same. If Garrison's Gorillas had not sold, the pilot that included the Combat cast would have been Episode #153 of Combat.

On the Combat DVD extras, whenever someone brought up Garrison's Gorillas the DVD extra producer did not seem too interested. So I do not think that the folks that got Combat out on DVD are interested in Garrison's Gorrillas.

An unsold Selmur war show pilot was called: OPERATION ATTACK, about the WWII Pacific Theater ,starred Gary Conway of LAND OF THE GIANTS.

It's a shame those two pilots could not have been on the Combat DVDs as extras.

Perhaps Paramount will release the show some day. I picked up a set of them taped from Good Life a few years back.

Does anyone know how to get DVDs of Garrison's Gorillas.? I loved it as a kid. I've had bad luck in the past with outfits like DVDAvenue. Thanks!
