Gamespot has a hands-on article for the highly anticipated Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the X-box. They got to play it for about a half an hour and they seemed to like it. I finally downloaded some movies of the game, and it looks to be a very fun game. We shall find out soon.

i guess we'll wait n see about buffy.

as for delayed games? try Magic Knight Rayearth. we're not talking about a game that was scrapped on one system n moved to another. i don't know how many months i had this one preordered from EB.

I read that review the other day. I had trouble taking it seriously because the main beef the guy seemed to have with it was that it's repetitive, which if you think about it means it's like most of the other video games, good and bad, that have come out each year since the beginning. If I didn't get sick of wasting monsters in Hunter or aliens in Halo, I doubt I'll tire of doing the same to vampires [IMG] The complaint about the save system sounds pretty legitimate, though, so I guess I'll have to steel myself for that when the game comes out.

    That UK review is invalid

He doesn't know how to spell Xander, therefore he isn't a real fan.

If you have to be a "real fan" to enjoy the game, then it probably isn't a very good game. The Gamespot preview also alludes to repetitive fighting:

    I was kidding [IMG]
I figured the statement was ludicrous enough that it'd get by [IMG]

[IMG] You just never know - I've seen some crazy rationalizations on this board. [IMG]
In the end, unless it totally sucks, I'll get a kick out of this game. If there is a sequel, someone from the Hunter team should be involved. The "dusting" effect would be just _perfect_ for a Buffy game!
