Gamecube Progressive Games (1 Viewer)

Well, I just got my Nintengo Gamecube component cables and I'm ready to start playing 480p games!!!
I have the following:
Eternal Darkness
Zelda - Ocarina of Time

The question is, do I have to do anything to enable progressive scan on this games? (I've heard sometimes you have to prss B as the game loads.....) or does it go to 480p automatically on these 2 games?

You have to hold B right after you turn the Cube on and you'll be prompted to play with it or not.

Bert is right, and after that initial B button press, the Gamecube will automatically prompt you for progressive scan from there on out, unless you disable progressive scan or do something like play the Cube on a non-progressive TV.

I have tried holding the B button as instructed above and am not given the option to play in progressive with Rogue Leader.

Can one of you guys explain it again step by step. Should I have a game loaded? Should the lid be open or closed etc..

I have it hooked up to a 65" HD 16x9 SONY set btw.

Nevermind. I just realized I don't have component video cables. Duh!:rolleyes

I wonder why they don't put that in the players manual?

My copy of NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona for Gamecube has instructions to enable progressive scan...I though all 480p games on GCN had this explained in their manuals. (?)
