I can't say I'm suprised by those figures. I've only managed to see a GBA SP in stock around me once. Best Buy had 2 Cobalt ones in stock but both were long gone when I went back the next week intending to pick one up. With the somewhat disappointing Cube sales, it's good to see nintendo still has the cash cow of the GBA.

The thing is, this is pretty much old hardware that has been repackaged, like the PSOne. Amazing.

And yet, you can't buy a Wavebird in anything but grey.

I bought two of them. I have two boys, ages 10 and 7, and I figure my savings in batteries alone made these a worthwhile purchase.

Plus, I find the SP A LOT more comfortable for my big hands than the regular advance. With the regular advance, I would get a weird cramp right above the second joint on my thumb. With the SP, this has disappeared.
