The Princess Bride is correct! The hat on the right side is the big clue in this one - it's the same hat Rob Reiner wore in "This is Spinal Tap" as filmmaker Marty DeBergi. The poster of William "The Fridge" Perry of the 1985 Chicago Bears is also a good clue that places this movie in the 80s.

I've seen the movie many times but that was too obscure for me. I guess I only really pay attention to the 'story' portion of the movie.

My first thought on the latest one is Kung Fu Panda 2 but I don't remember when there was what looks like a neon sign.

Mentioning Batman Returns makes me think it is Batman during the street parade with the floats expelling the Joker gas.
