Is gambling on the internet legal? because the company is located in an area where gambling is not located (i.e. dutch antilles) is it legal for anyone to use that company to make bets?
To me it's kinda like going to vegas, only without having to get up.
But i'd rather be safe than sorry so does anyone have any info?

Well, if your instincts tell you not to trust it, then I wouldn't gamble on this company. But that's up to you.

So far internet gambling is not illegal and does not break any laws put forth by the Wire Act. There are a number of casino's who are moving their business off shore just to make sure they are out of jurisdiction when the time comes (if it does) that the US courts decide that gambling across state lines is illegal.

At the moment it is ok to do though.

I'd rely on a bigger name online casino (betonsports.com or sportsbet.com) since in all likelyhood they are already affiliated with a domestic casino and are a little more reputable.

Mark, I think gambling offshore is legal but I am not positive. Do you want Sport betting or Casino gambling? For sports, betcris.com is probably the best there is.

I understand the laws are such that if Gambling is illegal in your state, then on-line gambling is too. Although, I don't think any State is actively trying to police the practice.
