I don't know how much the Lightning Audio 6" Aeroports cost at newfoam, but I found a site that has them for $39.95 (pair - flanges.) The site is: www.audiophiles-online.com

I had no idea they were so expensive. They just look like cheap plastic to me. Is it really worth the cost?

They are very well made, not cheap plastic.....

They're certainly not cheap, but I think they're worth it.

Geiing even close to their flare radius via a roundover would require about a huge thickness of MDF and a larger bit than I've ever seen.

The AeroPort flares have an inside lip for the pipe. It's sized for a 6.25" OD PVC pipe. The only PVC I've found that fits is the green PVC designated for sewer use.
