Wow,

I had no idea they were so expensive. They just look like cheap plastic to me. Is it really worth the cost?

That's a good price. I paid $49.95 + shipping from NewFoam.

They are very well made, not cheap plastic.....

ThomasW, How did you assemble the flange to the port tube. Does the flange fit PVC pipe? Sorry to bother you

They're certainly not cheap, but I think they're worth it.

Geiing even close to their flare radius via a roundover would require about a huge thickness of MDF and a larger bit than I've ever seen.

The AeroPort flares have an inside lip for the pipe. It's sized for a 6.25" OD PVC pipe. The only PVC I've found that fits is the green PVC designated for sewer use.
