juat descovered bestbuy.ca is now selling products?? before the canadian site wasnt selling anything, and I thought FutreShop was the canadian best buy, and i'm pretty sure it is...anyways they're selliung stuff with free shipping to canada so all the better!

You seem to want an answer to a question which isn't clearly asked.

Yes, Best Buy has BB-branded stores in Canada. Yes, BB bought out FS. Given how businesses usually work, stuff is probably being shipped out of one or two main warehouses.

Interesting, but not necessarily a competing source vs Future Shop as they are both owned by the same parent company (Best Buy).

Yes, Best Buy bought Future Shop at least two years ago. In fact, they bought it long before Best Buy's started appearing here.

yah eh, I only started this thread as i was super excited for us canadians as futureshop is my only major electronics store and best buy opening is big news...glad we got all the facts straight.
