Anyone else seen the commercials for this on that cable station FX? apparently they are going to be showing the DVD of X-Men on their channel this Wednesday and afterwards they plan on showing off the extras on the disc. I found it kind of interesting and might check it out. What do you all think?

Actually, they are not showing a DVD.

Its the same concept as AMC's DVD-TV.

You get a presentation of the film followed by the bonus features from the DVD such as featurettes and deleted scenes.

What AMC does, and I'm not sure if FX will do this, is present a letterbox version of the film with text "commentary."

Nine times out of ten, the presentation is "modified to fill standard televisions" and only is widescreen for the text "commentary."
