FWIW - HDTV Compatible Light gun? (1 Viewer)

Don't want to get my hopes up, but I was in EBX today and saw this gun:

with the sticker 'HDTV compatible' on it. While I am really looking for a HD-RPTV compatible gun, this is the first time I've seen that mentioned. It's made by Pelican - but their website doesn't mention it. If anyone gets a chance and sees this in stores, see if you can look at it further (connectors and maybe the manual.)
I would love nothing more than booting up a light gun game and playing in my HT!

I think the question is if there are any light guns that will work with projection TVs. I seriously doubt any do, but im not sure. Anyone know for sure?

I believe they can work with projectiong TVs, but I know the line doublers & progressive scan can goof things up.
