I have the HCM-4215W
when I do that convergence
I noticed that the points on the side seems a little fuzzy
this is especially true when doing the Blue part
I don't know if all rear projection uses the same type of
adjustment but on mine
you have several points (crosses) on the screen
and under each cross is a little color cross that you can
adjust to match the one on top
it's the lighter cross that's fuzzy

Thanks

I have noticed that also on my JVC ,I have heard that some of this is normal on RPTV's??? Have seen the same complaint on various manufacturers.Anyone out know for sure?? Or this a typical mass production problem that can resolved wtih a pro calibration?

Because the blue is not as bright as the red and green, it is slightly out of focus to achieve proper greyscale.

Also, since the red crt is off to the side of the centered green crt, you will notice that one side of red is a bit out of focus compared to the other side due to the fact that it is hitting the screen at an angle. Same with the blue on the other side.

This is all normal.
