With the first season on the original Transformers about to be released, I wanted to find out how many episodes and seasons there were in all. After looking around a little, I found a website with a episode guide:

Talk about an odd structure. How do you think Rhino will release future seasons? There are 16 episodes in Season 1 and 48 in Season 2! Maybe Season 2.1 and 2.2, then 3 & 4 together. Hmmm...

I'd prefer to see them in 4 boxes (1/season).

It's because they only ordered 16eps originally, the show was a hit, and they wanted to put it into 5 day syndication so the ordered the back 48

I believe that they'll stick to the 4 disc format personally. And do Season 2 part 1, 2, 3 etc etc etc

And don't forget about the TF series that were released in Japan afterward:

    - The Headmasters

    - Choujin [email protected]_ƒ}ƒXƒ^[ƒtƒH[ƒXj

    - Victory

    - Zone

    - and later: Beast Wars Second, Beast Wars Neo, and Car Robot (which was butchered into "Robots in Disguise" in USA)

If the original series DVDs are successful, they could also release these. They would just need to add English subtitles to it.
