I know this is a minor, minor issue compared to the problems some folks have had playing the first batch of Bond discs, but a full set of 2-disc Ultimate Edition DVDs have been released here in the UK this week with artwork that I assume will eventually make its way (with some slight variation) onto the BDs.

I'm rather disappointed to see that these show rather awful back-to-front images of Connery and Brosnan!! ARGH!!

Any chance MGM/FOX is reading this and can make sure that all the images are correct before the BDs hit the streets?

I mean the artwork is bad enough already without THIS!

The rest of the artwork is here:

Yes I know... but I'm assuming the US BDs will use largely the same art when they finally emerge...

For example...

Although, I guess, maybe not necessary. The pic of Jane Seymour above is different to the one on the BD version, even though the Roger Moore picture is identical.

There's always hope I suppose...

Well, they can put a naked Ian Fleming on the cover for all I care. I know I speak for many others when I say I just wish I could get the current batch to play on my machine!

That shot of Connery on the "You Only Live Twice" makes him look really tired and pudgy. But then again, it is an accurate reflection of his appearance in that film.

This one manages to look nothing like either Timothy Dalton OR Maryam D'Abo. Quite an achievement!

I hope this is improved before the BD version!!

Interestingly, there's a mirror image of the D'Abo picture on the US version - so perhaps these WILL be different in Region 1/A
